In the market for a new water pipe? First time buyer? Well either way u will find this article very informative about some of the most well known water pipe companys and products. The first question you need to ask yourself is how much am i willing to spend on a new bong? The more you spend the bigger and nicer the choices become. I will show samples of some high end water pipes as well as some affordable pipes. Hopefully this article will give you a sense of what is out there and steer u in the right direction.

Roor

Lets first look at one the most well known manufacturers out there, Roor bongs.

Each Roor Bong is individually unique and very beautifully blown. These state of the art glass bongs are for the most eloquent of the smoking culture, enhancing smoking aesthetics to a new degree by using scientifically proven, optimum volume to water ratios giving the user a far smoother smoke. Roors can get up there in price but your paying for a piece of art as well as a smoking device. There are standard Roors for a moderate price and custom Roors that can be designed to your choosing for more money.

Illadelph Bongs

The Illadelph brand is a little less popular than the Roor brand but is equal in quality if not better. Illadelph is based out of Philly but has product in many head shops across the states. They use art and science to create bongs that have never been seen before. One unique aspect of Illadelph bongs is certain ones as in the picture can be disasembled and the special coiled section at the top can be put in the freezer for a smoother hit. I own an illadelph and have been very pleased with its performance.

Zongs

Zongs are easy to recognize by the Z shape blown and stretched into each piece. These bongs are affordable and very appealing. They are most interesting in that they look small but if they were stretched out they would all double in size. This creates an allusion of a small hit when in fact its twice as big as you would think. Most Zongs also come with the pistol grip handle for easy passing and less crashing. Zong is a very repitable company and I enjoy using them whenever I have the oportunity.

Blue Dot

Blue Dots have gone under the radar since the goverment implemented project pipe dream which shut down several water pipe manufactures. They are still around however and have become somewhat of collector pieces. If you are lucky enough to find a nice blue dot you will realize you have a very unique bong.

Justin owns a PURE and a ROOR 2 years ago

The picture you have on the bottom clearly states its a PURE GLASS brand waterpipe. NOT a Blue Dot which was originally produced by Northwest Glass... And by calling these waterpipes a "BONG" makes you sound like an idiot. So way to go.

Waterpipe? LOL. Perhaps, by the by, after partaking from said waterpipe, we could sip sherry and discuss the finer points of Postmodernist art, and later, we could vent our gall about the misnomers being bandied about on the internet! Tally ho!

Go flush your head. Of course they're bongs.

I like the Illadelph Bongs. It simply suit my taste as I love to collect scientific apparel. I have one similar design for my coffee maker. It so-called reflux system to double boil the coffee. Does the Illadelph Bongs do the same?

Some variations of Illadelph pieces have double filtrations points. I have seen an illadelph in NC with 8 filtration points it costs 750 dollars.

The Huawei Ideos may skimp on a low-res screen and camera, but it's made exactly the right moves in bringing Android to the masses. 802.11n Wi-Fi and HSPA combine with the latest version of the Android OS to give the Ideos the leg-up on most other phones, at any price. Although you'll miss out on Flash Player, you won't regret saving some dosh on this responsive, usable phone.

If you talk with Chinese people, they may tell you that they are peace loving both in history and by tradition, but a few American Congressmen fabricated the so-called China Threat. They can not understand how could American get their views through to the American public?

Actually, American Congressmen are influenced in several ways which include influences by lawyers, lobbyists and public relations officials who seek to have them take their positions opposed to the People's Republic of China or vise versa. In the case of Taiwan Strait Crisis, those lobbyists either aided by Taiwan or by mainland China are the main influences.

Taiwan island is known for its "intricate network of supporters that has made Taiwan one of the most effective lobbies in Washington." Taipei government has long term co-operation with Taiwanese-American organizations, particularly the Formosan Association for Public Affairs which "has lobbied hard in the U.S. Congress." Since President Clinton's June 1998 visit to China, Taiwan has made considerable gain at securing additional congressional support.

Mainland China, however, has beefed up its lobbying efforts in the US. Moreover, Beijing has always enjoyed the invaluable support of some former high-ranking US officials, including former Secretaries of State, Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig and Lawrence Eagelburger, acting as Beijing's unofficial lobbyists.

Ironically, China has done much on its own to contribute to the deterioration of its relations with the US and thus unwittingly aided Taiwan. China's continuing violation of human rights, including the arrest and trial of leaders of China Democratic Party, banning of the apolitical, spiritual Falungong movement, trade disputes with the US, and so on. So lobbyist's influences are not always positive, It is said that one country seek to hire many many lobbyists. The lobbyists they hired became a media issue and also the fact that they hired lobbyists became an issue with the Congress. The Congress became very very upset.
